Kathmandu which is popular as the city of temple and living Goddess is the capital of Nepal. Kathmandu is a perfect for travelers to experience the blend of modern influence with the ancient cultural heritages still intact in its original form. Amidst the sophisticated building and other structures calmly nestle the various UNESCO World heritage sites boasting its glorious artistic past. The city is inhabited by various ethnic communities with majority of Newars who are popular for their distinct attires, exquisite foods and various festivals. Don’t forget to taste the mo:mos when you are in Kathmandu. Moreover, an hour mountain flight commencing from Kathmandu provides spectacular view of all the peaks of the Himalayas including the Everest.
We visit the ancient Durbar squares in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. The former palaces are decorated with centuries old stone and wood sculptures and pagoda style temples in almost every corner. The travelers get opportunity to see two of the biggest Buddhist Stupas in the world: Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and the Boudhanath Stupa. Apart from those sites, visit to the holy temple of Lord Shiva provides an opportunity to closely encounter the Hindu rituals including the cremation along the Bagmati River. A walk in the narrow streets provides an insight to the commercial activities of the local communities.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel.
You will be welcomed by our staff standing with your name-card in the airport arrival terminal and transferred to your hotel by the private vehicle. There will be a dinner program in one of the Nepalese restaurants with typical Nepalese cuisine. There will be a small meeting about the trip in the evening.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing.
Today after breakfast you will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ Swayambhunath and Buddhists shrine of Boudhanath which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Along with it you will visit the miedeval palaces of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, these palaces are rich in stone and wood sculptures glorifying the rich artistic history of ancient Nepal.
Day 03: Full Day time visit Bhaktapur.
During Day time you will visit most cultural and historical part of Nepal Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is most ancient city of Nepal and Kathmandu Durbar Square dedicated to the Living Goddess “Kumari”.
Day 04: Fly Back to Your Country.
We will transfer you to Airport for you final departure.
